Our Ultra Dynamics - 7001-153 UV Light Bulb For Germicidal Water Treatment is a 75 Watts guaranteed UV replacement bulb that has single pin on both ends. The ceramic bulb has a wavelength range of 254 nm and an average lifespan of 10,000 hours. The UVC bulb inactivates and kills bacteria, virus, protozoa and molds and has single pin on two ends for better water purification.

This radiation of 254 nm is considered to be highly lethal for microorganisms and alters their genetic framework and prevents them from reproducing. Studies have shown that a UV water purification system can effectively destroy 99.9% of waterborne microorganisms. It provides a safe solution as this method of sterilizing water is a purely physical process and does not alter the chemistry, pH or taste of water.
