The GermAwayUV Washable Aluminum Filter is a reusable metallic filter designed specifically for the GermAwayUV High Efficiency Wall Mountable Air Purifier and Sanitizer. Installed as part of the system's multi-filter air treatment configuration, this durable aluminum filter provides a reusable filtration stage while allowing proper airflow through the unit.

Unlike the system's replaceable air filter, the aluminum filter is washable and designed for continued use. Routine cleaning helps maintain proper airflow and filtration performance, eliminating the need for scheduled replacement under normal operating conditions.

Replacement is generally only necessary if the existing aluminum filter becomes damaged, excessively worn, or if a new filter is preferred during system maintenance.

Maintenance

Periodically inspect and clean the aluminum filters to remove accumulated debris and maintain proper airflow. After washing, allow the filter to dry completely before reinstalling it in the purifier. Replace the filter if it becomes damaged or can no longer be properly cleaned.
