CureUV carries a wide selection of proven germicidal-effective products. These UVC products use UV light to control algae, spores and bacteria present in the water column. The ultraviolet output is proven effective to inactivate microorganisms such as yeast and mold. These clarifier bulbs kill free floating algae to clear up and clarify your aquarium or pond water and continue to keep it clean.
We suggest replacing your bulbs every 9 months for optimum results. UV lamp life is governed by the life of the electrodes and is affected by the frequency of starting. If it’s on a timer, the UV light is most effective for 1 year. The bulbs will still work but the UVC germicidal capabilities start to diminish.
