Our CureUV brand replacement insect attraction bulb is a premium-quality 40-watt fluorescent lamp designed as a 100% compatible replacement for Gardner EL-09, Gardner EL-09S, Gilbert F40T12/350BL, and Gilbert F40/350BL lamps. Producing a 350 nm black light (BL) spectrum, this lamp effectively attracts flying insects for use in commercial insect light traps without the use of chemicals.

Available in both standard and shatterproof versions, this replacement lamp is ideal for food processing facilities, commercial kitchens, warehouses, restaurants, supermarkets, and other environments where reliable flying insect control is essential.

Shatterproof Coating Option

The optional shatterproof coating helps contain broken glass in the event of accidental lamp breakage, reducing the risk of glass contamination inside the insect trap.

Although the protective coating can reduce UV output slightly, it is highly recommended for food processing, pharmaceutical, medical, and other applications where glass containment is critical. For general commercial applications where breakage is not a major concern, the standard uncoated lamp provides maximum insect attraction.
